GOLFPNW is excited to announce a new partnership with Gamble Sands. GOLFPNW was founded in 2015 on the belief that the Pacific Northwest is the next top golfing destination, and the Sands Course at Gamble Sands reinforces this belief. David McLay Kidd, Scottish golf course architect best known for his work on the famed Bandon Dunes, described the location as a “once in a lifetime site of every designer dreams.”
The timing of the partnership naturally aligns, as the Gebbers family, owners of the Sands Course, recently opened the Inn at Gamble Sands. The Inn’s management notes, “The oversized rooms perfectly match the wide-open nature of Gamble Sands – big rooms open to the big golf course, framed by even bigger views that sweep across the Columbia River Valley. The sheer scale of this special place lies at the heart of its charm, something that certainly appeals to golfers and non-golfers alike.”
Not only is GOLFPNW offering local golfers an attractive weekend getaway at Gamble Sands, they will also be offering longer, more tailored packages to customers from all over the globe. The tour operator creates trips perfect for locals and/or international and out-of-region golfers. Not only are the golf and accommodations first class, but there are many other great activities close by to take advantage of. Whether it’s enjoying a meal at Danny Boy Grill, visiting the famous Gebbers Apple and Cherry Farms, wine tasting or visiting Lake Chelan, this area has something for everyone.
Brendan Durie of GOLFPNW noted, “We will manage all of the transportation, tee times, and accommodations, which allows golfers to focus first on golfing, then on enjoying the magnificent scenery, food and fun, unique to this beautiful region.”
