Golf Course Description
Chambers Bay, the host of the 2015 United States Open, is a British links-style course that sits majestically on the Puget Sound southwest of Tacoma, Washington. Chambers Bay was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and opened for play in June of 2007.
The course ranks 25th on Golf Digest's 2013-14 Top 100 Public Golf Courses in America list already and is consistently ranked 1st in Washington on both Golf Magazine's and Golfweek's Best Public Courses lists. One of the more demanding challenges in the US, a player will have to be sharp to deal with the massive waste areas and the dramatic elevation changes.
